The summer is going to be a big one for Leeds United, who need to reshape their squad ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Over the last 12 months Leeds have missed Chris Wood, the scorer of 30 goals during the 2016/17 campaign, following the striker’s move to Burnley.

Kemar Roofe has top scored this season at Elland Road with 14 goals across all competitions – a good return, but not enough to fire Leeds to the play-offs.

Paul Heckingbottom will be working closely with Victor Orta, Leeds’ Director of Football, looking to solve Leeds’ goalscoring woes and add a player capable of firing the Whites into promotion contention.

Jack Marriott is a striker Leeds have been linked with in the past, with the Peterborough forward on the radar of many following an impressive year in League One.

The 23-year-old has scored 33 goals across the 2017/18 campaign, proving to be one of the most prolific forwards in the lower leagues.

Here at FLW, we wanted to know if Leeds’ supporters would encourage Orta to make a move for Marriott ahead of next summer.

Just 67% of Leeds’ supporters were in favour of a move for Marriott, which is a slight surprise given his form this season. The other 33% of voters in our poll wouldn’t encourage Orta to make a move for the Peterborough star.
