McDaid will attending training at Leeds today then travel to the Vanarama National side Lincoln City to finalise the move.

The Northern Ireland international joined Leeds United academy back in 2014, and will be seeking first-team action in the Vanarama National League with Lincoln, as they sit in eighth place.

Leeds striker McDaid has not featured yet for the senior side at Elland Road since arriving from Northern Ireland side Glenavon F.C.

McDaid will be keen to gain first team experience with Lincoln City, and fans of the club will hope that he can help them return to the Football league once again.

McDaid may not be the only Leeds United striker heading out of Elland Road this month, with Mirco Antenucci possibly heading back to Italy, with Italian outfit Ascoli keen on a deal.

The Yorkshire club currently sit in 13th position in the Sky Bet Championship, having accumulated 32 points from 25 league games so far this season.
