According to FLW sources, the Yorkshire club are eager to sign the 19-year-old Chelsea starlet on a 93-day emergency loan deal, although it is uncertain as to whether Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will let him go in this emergency window.

FLW understands that Steve McClaren’s Derby County are also keen on taking the highly-rated central midfielder on loan.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge ten years ago, Baker has successfully progressed through the ranks to captain the U21 side, as well as making his senior debut.

The 19-year-old has also represented England at U17s and U19s level multiple times.
