Leeds United have put themselves in a strong position to make a long-awaited return to the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa's guidance.

The Whites have been hugely impressive this season and will be hoping they can do enough to break back into the automatic promotion places before the season concludes.

One player that has been impressive under the management of Bielsa is Jack Harrison, who is currently on loan from Manchester City until the end of this year's campaign.

In an interview with the Manchester Evening News, Harrison offered an insight into what Bielsa is like behind the scenes.

"You don’t realise when he’s telling you but in the game you realise it’s happening. He breaks down a game into each segment and it’s so detailed and intelligent.

"I don’t think any other manager thinks like that. It’s been great to work with him and see a different perspective on football."

The 22-year-old also admitted that his training sessions are something that he hasn't experienced before as a player in his professional career.

"They’re very different from anything I’ve done before.

"We don’t do much possession even though a lot of times in games we have a lot of the ball. There’s a lot of specific work on movements and players.

"As a player you do things naturally but Marcelo breaks things down for you, he gives you detailed movements that can help you out significantly in a game."

Harrison will be hoping that he can continue to impress under Bielsa and play his part in their promotion bid this season, starting with a positive result against Millwall after the international break.

The Verdict:

He's the best manager Leeds have had in recent years.

Bielsa seems to have nailed it with the Whites this season and has completely transformed this Leeds side.

The Elland Road faithful have got every reason to be optimistic of making a long-awaited return to the Premier League with Bielsa in charge.
