Leeds United went back to the top of the Championship after a vital 2-1 win over Swansea at Elland Road last night.

Whilst the scoreline suggests a tight game, Marcelo Bielsa's side were far superior to the Welsh outfit for much of the night and merited three points.

And, with Norwich losing at Preston, it capped off what was a very good few hours for the Whites.

However, the players know they still have a lot of work to do if they are to ensure this is a memorable campaign and that was evident with Kemar Roofe's latest social media post.

The forward took to Instagram to send a passionate message as the team prepare for their final 14 games of the season.

"Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up. #comebackstronger."

The 26-year-old has been a massive player for Leeds this season but he is now five games without a goal after he failed to find the net last night.

Going back further he has just one goal in 2019 but he surely won't care as long as the team are successful.

The Verdict

This is slightly strange timing for a message like this given that Leeds won last night.

But, it just shows that Roofe is completely focused on helping the team achieve their objectives this season and making it a year to remember.

They have 14 huge fixtures left and Roofe is going to have to play a big part to help the team to promotion.
