New Leeds United star Egzjan Alioski has spoken exactly of what he is enjoying about working under Thomas Christiansen.

The forward revealed in a press conference, via a report by HITC, that he is particularly enjoying training under Christiansen, especially some of the attacking drills involving the use of the ball.

Alioski has been in superb form since making the summer move to Elland Road, and is looking like being one of the buys of the season if he can continue his current run with the club. However, Alioski has been quick to praise Christiansen, saying:

"How he works with his staff. I enjoy it. We do so many exercises with the ball that it's nice and we train many times with the ball."

It is no surprise that the forward is pleased with these training methods, such is his style of play on the pitch, and it also makes sense given just how good Leeds have started the Championship season. A happy dressing room and impressive training sessions can often lead to excellence on match day.

Christiansen was under pressure this summer following his replacement of Garry Monk, with many Leeds fans knowing nothing about their new manager. Thus far though, he has put those concerns to bed.

The Verdict

Alioski has been superb so far and is looking like being one of the standout talents in the Championship.

If he can maintain his form and Leeds keep winning, then he could well be playing Premier League football next year.
