Leeds United's season has fallen by the wayside once more as they have again dismissed a manager mid-season, while new man Paul Heckingbottom has yet to get things going as he would like.

The Elland Road crowd are often a demanding but passionate bunch, and this season has once again been a let down for the Yorkshire faithful, who have seen their side slip well below the playoff places after what was in hindsight, a promising start to the campaign.

However, another summer will soon be upon us and with manager Heckingbottom likely to want to delve into the transfer market to sign up some new players, we at FLW think he might be best served by making a move for a few Premier League youngsters.

One such player is Southampton winger Josh Sims, who after bursting onto the scene last season, has failed to match that form and promise this term, with limited appearances in the first team holding him back somewhat in terms of development.

He is though a quality looking player, and a move to a club the size of Leeds and the chance of playing regular football in front of big crowds can only be something what benefits him massively as he looks to further what is already a promising career.

If Sims can have a season of proving himself in the second tier and help fire Leeds up the Championship table, then the sky is really the limit for the youngster over the coming years, and Southampton can only benefit further from having one of their most sought after young players develop.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
