Leeds United continue to be half knocking on the Championship playoff door, with inconsistencies halting their march towards a promotion push.

However, following a bit of a blip in October, the Whites have appeared to be getting things back on track somewhat, and manager Thomas Christiansen will be keen to see his charges kick on over what will be a testing winter period.

The summer saw Leeds bring in a whole host of new signings, many of which are looking impressive, with the likes of Samuel Saiz and Gjanni Alioski particularly impressing thus far at Elland Road.

January gives Leeds another chance at the transfer market and the opportunity to try and bring in a few players who could make a difference, and one man who is bang in form this season is Sheffield United man Leon Clarke.

The big striker scored more goals in November than all but two of the Championship's clubs total goals tally for the month, and the former Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves man really is the man of the moment.

While he is settled at Bramall Lane, Leeds do have bigger financial clout than the Blades, and a move to Elland Road could be something which interests Clarke, especially if Leeds have usurped the Blades in League position terms come January.

This move would be a surprise, but Clarke is the hottest striker in the league at the moment, and his goals could well fire Leeds into promotion contention come May.

Leeds fans, what do you make of Clarke? Would he do well at Elland Road? Let us know!
