Last week, the news broke that new Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka was interested in an ambitious swoop for Chelsea forward Charly Musonda.

The chances of Musonda going to the City Ground look to be getting slimmer and slimmer by the day and I don't see any reason why Thomas Christiansen should not be interested in getting involved in the race for the Belgian.

In the absence of Samuel Saiz, for the next five matches, the Leeds attack will be missing invention and spark and a move for Musonda would mean that Christiansen has quality from more and more attacking areas, which can only be a good thing in a promotion push.

Musonda has the talent to go right to the top of the game and Elland Road could be exactly the right place for the Chelsea man to start that journey.

He is also used to being at a big club with high expectations, so shouldn't be overawed by the prospect of turning out for Leeds, with their huge fan base and passionate home support.

They would likely face Premier League competition and potentially suitors from abroad, so the chase wouldn't be easy but it is well worth Christiansen getting Leeds involved in the hunt for the outstanding talent that is Charly Musonda.

Leeds fans - do you agree? Should you be in the hunt for Chelsea starlet Musonda? Let us know in the comments below...
