Leeds United will no doubt be having something of a summer overhaul at Elland Road this summer, with new manager Paul Heckingbottom keen to add some new players to the ranks as well as getting rid of a few underachievers.

There is bound to a be a few of the squad who are shown the exit door, but among the squad there is a whole host of players who Heckingbottom will want to keep, but will be aware he faces something of a fight to keep hold of.

Plenty of players in the Leeds squad are well capable of performing in the Championship, and these are the players that the club need to build around during the summer to ensure their squad is up to scratch and able to compete for a top six spot.

With that in mind, we at FLW have taken a look at TWO Leeds United players who the club should be seriously worried about keeping hold of this summer...

Pontus Jansson

The big Swedish defender has long been established as one of the key men at Elland Road, and him staying is crucial to Leeds having any success.

However, Jansson has already drawn admiring glances from the top flight and beyond, and there is bound to be interest this summer.

Leeds simply must keep Jansson. Losing a player of his calibre will be a bitter blow to the club, and fans will be desperate to see the big man stay put.

 Samuel Saiz

A player on his day who is capable of winning any game and producing moments of sheer magic, Saiz is someone who simply has to remain at Elland Road if they are to have success.

The Spaniard brings an extra element of class to the forward play at Elland Road, and if he does leave, it leaves a massive hole to fill for the club.

Saiz has only been with the club a year, but he is already a star and a fan favourite, and the club simply must ensure he stays put.
