The transfer window is rapidly approaching and although there is still an awful lot decide in the Football League, you can bet that plans are already being made for the summer.

Leeds United are one side who are likely to have plenty of attention given to their dealings although it remains to be seen whether it will be a Premier League window or another Championship one.

One name that has recently been linked with them is that of  Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.

The Congolese was signed by Aston Villa on a season-long loan back in the summer but left in January following a tricky time under Dean Smith.

His future on Merseyside looks likely to end and it would not be a surprise to seem him leave in the summer, but he recently played down the potential move to Elland Road, whilst speaking to Walfoot.

Bielsa’s desire, and failure, to add another winger to his squad is very well known, so how should the fans feel following this update?

Despite arriving to an awful lot of hype back in the summer, Bolasie’s spell at Villa Park was far from impressive, becoming increasingly disliked among the crowd before finally leaving.

Whilst the Whites definitely need a winger, they should be looking for someone who will have a genuine desire to play for the club, which I do not think Bolasie has.

It should therefore be a sizeable relief to hear this update from the player himself.
