Leeds United are set to swoop for former Inter Milan full-back Marco Davide Faraoni, according to reports on Twitter.

Faraoni spent last season on loan at Watford

The 22-year-old who currently plies his trade at Serie A outfit Udinese looks set for a move away from Italy, and Leeds' Italian owner Massimo Cellino is set to prize him away and bring him to Yorkshire.

Faraoni spent last season on loan at Sky Bet Championship side Watford and amassed 38 appearances for the Hornets, also scoring two goals.

The Italian full-back started his youth career at Italian giants Lazio, before moving to Inter Milan in 2010, where he spent two years.

Faraoni has been a prominent player in the Italy national youth squads, having been involved in squad all the way from under-16 level up to under-21 level.
