According to reports in the Mail Online, Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is set to snub a move to Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United in favour of staying with the Scottish giants.
The Elland Road side are reportedly set to be readying a £1 million bid for the 24-year-old striker who has produced fantastically well since joining Celtic from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The striker has been quick to quash any link to the Championship side insisting that his future lies in the Champions League and not the Championship.
Griffiths has been part of a deadly strike force since the turn of the year, partnering Manchester City loanee John Guidetti, but the former Dundee striker has vowed to give his all to his club as they prepare to enter the Champions League qualifiers this summer.
His promise to the club was cemented so much so that he is rumoured to have asked the manager Ronny Deila to swap his current number 28 shirt to the number nine shirt even if Guidetti does return to the Scottish champions.
Leeds United fans, are you disappointed by this news? Did you ever expect to sign a player like Griffiths?
