Leeds United set to lose 23-year-old defender as talks with top flight clubs begin

Highly rated Leeds United full-back Charlie Taylor looks set to leave the Whites this summer with Team Talk confirming that the player has held talks with Premier League clubs Stoke City and Liverpool.

The 23-year-old was named Player of the Year for the 2015/16 campaign and after a series of fine performances he has attracted top flight interest, with the player now looking almost certain to depart Elland Road.

Leeds are looking for around £5 million for the player who has graduated through their own glittering youth academy, with Taylor now to decide between a move to the Britannia Stadium or Anfield.

New Whites boss Garry Monk said upon his arrival at the club that he wanted to keep all of his prized youngsters in his squad for next season, although he looks powerless to prevent Taylor from the clutches of the top flight.

Taylor possesses maturity beyond his tender years and at £5 million he would be a really solid signing for either Liverpool or Stoke.

Leeds United fans, who would you like to see replace Taylor in the team? Do you have a ready-made left-back or will Monk have to spend some cash?
