Jack Clarke's deal to Tottenham Hostpur looked all wrapped up during the week, but there has been nothing official from the clubs.

The Evening Standard reported yesterday (June 27) that Clarke had completed his medical at Tottenham ahead of a £10million transfer. Yet despite this, there has still been no announcement.

So when will we see Clarke in a Spurs shirt?

According to Leeds Live, the move will be formally announced on Monday.

Allegedly, Clarke went down to London between Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon to undergo a medical and negotiate personal terms.

Clarke, 18, produced many moments of magic last season despite only starting four matches. He was a favourite at Elland Road, and his electric pace would really excite the fans when he came on from the bench.

Yet following the club's failure to go up in May, the likelihood of Clarke leaving had grown rapidly and now it is an inevitability that he will be leaving.

The Verdict

There isn't much doubt about this deal, it's just a case of as and when.

Leeds will have to lick their wounds with Clarke, who looks a real talent, but ultimately wasn't starting for the club.

The money they have made they will be able to reinvest and the club and fans will feel a lot better if they're able to capture Helder Costa.
