It has been a busy few days since Leeds United made it three wins from three in the Championship with an impressive 2-0 win at home to Rotherham United.

Kemar Roofe bagged his third of the season whilst Luke Ayling notched his first ever Whites goal as Bielsa became the first Leeds manager to ever win his first four matches in charge of the club.

But there is always fresh news emerging from Elland Road and emerging from all angles as well.

The owner, the directors, the fans, the players and of course the manager all provide a stream of news for the public.

Here, then, is a roundup of what has happened over the last few days.

Could have been Conte?

The biggest story to emerge from Elland Road was probably the revelation that owner Andrea Radrizzani harboured hopes of bringing Chelsea's Premier League and FA Cup winning manager Antonio Conte to the club this summer.

Radrizzani was reportedly willing to offer the former Italy manager €20million to make the move.

Claudio Ranieri and Roberto Martinez were other people targeted before Marcelo Bielsa eventually took the job in June.

The latest from the window

There is always transfer news seeping out of Leeds and managing director Angus Kinnear admitted that the club could still do business in the remaining weeks of the loan market.

He made the confession in the club's matchday programme on Saturday.

Cameron Jerome is one name that was strongly linked with a move to the Yorkshire club, by Football Insider, from Derby County over the last few days, but fans were divided. Some said they would take him whilst others would rather see Mallik Wilks recalled.

The Whites were also linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth, according to a Birmingham Mail report.

The Argentinian is yet to make a Premier appearance for Spurs yet but has had a run out in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Spanish outlet SPORT, via HITC, reported that striker Adrian Balboa was set to leave the club before the end of the transfer window with Spanish side Terrassa FC interested.

News from the camp

Fan favourite centre-back Pontus Jansson has had his return to the squad delayed even further after suffering a back injury in training.

The Swede was given an extended break after his World Cup exploits but was expected to be back in contention for selection soon.

Leeds fans reacted to the news in their usual style with one fan accusing him of being 'made of glass'.
