Leeds United are set to recall winger Hadi Sacko from his loan spell with Las Palmas, amid talks that could see the winger join Mol Vidi for the remainder of the season according to AS.

The Spanish media outlet claim that the Whites are in talks with Las Palmas over a termination of the loan for Sacko, who has struggled for game time with the second tier Spanish side.

The 24-year-old has made just five substitute appearances in a disappointing spell with the Spanish outfit, who are struggling to adjust to life in the Segunda league.

According to AS, Leeds are already in advanced negotiations with MOL Vidi over a loan move that would see Sacko join the Hungarian side until the end of the season.

The potential deal is likely to be confirmed by Leeds, but only when Las Palmas allow Sacko to return to Elland Road from his loan spell.

Sacko will be hoping that he can find regular game time with the Hungarian outfit, and if he can impress out on loan, then he could potentially have a future at Elland Road.

But if the winger has another unsuccessful loan spell abroad, then it could spell the end of his time with Leeds on his return to the club in the summer.

The Verdict:

Sacko couldn't have asked for a more disappointing loan spell.

The whole point of a loan spell is to get regular playing time under his belt, and he certainly hasn't done that with Las Palmas.

He could have even found himself with more game time at Leeds if he had stayed at Elland Road this season, but it's good to see the Whites making an effort to resolve his short-term future this month.
