Leeds United have received bids for Charlie Taylor from three Premier League sides, reports the Guardian.

Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and long-term admirers West Brom are believed to have made bids in the region of £7m for the defender.

Taylor, another Leeds academy product, is out of contract in the summer and submitted a transfer request before the season started.

Although, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay took to his own account about the rumours of the bids, confirming that the bids were “wide of the mark” but did state interest from West Brom and Palace.

Head coach Garry Monk, who is looking to guide Leeds back to the Premier League for the first time since 2004, stated last week nobody, including Taylor, would be leaving the club this window.

Taylor has made 25 appearances across all competitions this season and has formed a solid unit in defence along with Luke Ayling, Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson.

The Whites face Derby County tonight but an injury will keep Taylor out.

Monk also faces a selection headache at the centre of defence, with Jansson suspended and deputy Liam Cooper struggling with an impact injury.
