Leeds United have rejected a loan bid from Norwich City for striker Mirco Antenucci, according to GianlucaDiMarzio.
The Italian forward has impressed at Elland Road in his debut season in England, and his good form has seen fellow Championship outfit Norwich City want his services.
The forward has found himself ousted from the starting line-up in Neil Redfearn’s side in recent games this season, with Billy Sharp and Steve Morison ahead of him in the pecking order.
Antenucci signed for the Yorkshire club in the summer from Italian outfit Ternana, where he scored 19 goals last season.
Alex Neil’s Norwich City are suffering in the forward department with striker Lewis Grabban sidelined due to injury, and are in need of another forward to give them all the options possible.
The Canaries are vying for a spot in the top two of the Sky Bet Championship, and the addition of Antenucci could have added an extra dimension and element of potency to the frontline.
