Leeds United winger, Hadi Sacko is edging closer to a move to Turkish side, Denizlispor according to Denizli Gazetesi.
Sacko was out on loan last season, and evidently isn’t rated by Marcelo Bielsa, who is yet to give him a chance in the Leeds first-team.
He had an unsuccessful loan spell with Las Palmas before returning early from his time in Spain, but his return to Elland Road was a brief one.
The 25-year-old finished last year’s campaign with Ankaragucu, where he made 15 appearances for the Turkish side, scoring three league goals.
The report claims that an agreement has been reached by Denizlispor and Leeds to sign Sacko, although it remains to be seen as to how much the deal is worth.
The Turkish side won promotion to the Turkish top-flight last season, so Sacko will be hoping that he can perform to a high standard against some tricky teams in next year’s campaign.
It seems as though it’s only a matter of time before the winger is to leave Elland Road, and when he does, it will bring an end to his time at Leeds, where he hasn’t made the impact he would have first hoped to.
It’s not a surprise to see him moving on from Elland Road.
Sacko didn’t feature for Leeds last season and he evidently isn’t in Marcelo Bielsa’s plans for the future, so a move elsewhere is the best move for both parties.
It’ll be interesting to see what fee the Whites can get for him, and supporters will be hoping that any funds they get can be reinvested into the squad ahead of next season.
