Leeds United are targeting a move for released defender Dean Moxey, according to the Express and Echo.
Moxey was released from Premier League side Crystal Palace this morning, and Brian McDermott is eyeing up a move for the former Derby County full-back.
The versatile 28-year-old was among a number of players released from Tony Pulis’ side today, which included Danny Gabbidon, Jonathon Parr and Aaron Wilbraham.
The experienced defender’s released has put an array of Championship clubs on red alert for his services, and Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers are both set to battle it out for his signature.
Leeds were heavily linked with a move for the former Exeter defender last season, and it looks likely Brian McDermott will make a move for the defender this summer.
