Leeds United are preparing a move for Rotherham United winger Kieran Agard, according to FLW sources.
The 24-year-old was watched by Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino in Rotherham’s 3-1 play-off semi-final win over Preston North End last night.
Agard has been watched by Leeds United scouts on multiple occasions this season at the New York Stadium.
The Rotherham winger is out of contract in the summer and Agard has not agreed a new deal at the club, so Leeds could snap up the highly-rated winger on a free transfer.
The versatile midfielder has amassed an impressive 25 goals in all competitions for Rotherham, and he has been a standout performer in the Sky Bet League One this season.
“For a right-sided player to get so many goals, if it had happened at many other clubs they would have been touting him about. But we don’t want to sell. We cannot put a value on Kieran. As far as I am concerned, unless someone offers something totally outrageous for him, he won’t be going anywhere else.”
