Leeds United manager Paul Heckingbottom is planning a summer swoop for three Barnsley players, according to respected journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.

The former Reds manager has been casting his eye on proceedings at his former club, and is now lining up summer moves for right back Andy Yiadom, midfielder Joe Williams, and striker Oli McBurnie.

Defender Yiadom has been a key cog for the Reds over the past few seasons and worked with Heckingbottom previously, while Williams was a summer signing by Heckingbottom from Everton, with the midfielder going on to impress this season with some mature showings in the midfield.

It is striker McBurnie though who will be drawing the most attention, with the Swansea loanee smashing in eight goals so far since making the move to Oakwell in January, and with Heckingbottom a keen admirer of the big striker, he will be hopeful of taking McBurnie to Leeds with him next season.

Leeds have struggled for any sort of form since Heckingbottom took over at the club in January, but he is expected to oversee something of an overhaul in the summer, with the club expected to move plenty of players on and look to bring in some fresh faces.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Would you take these three? Let us know in the comments!
