Leeds United goalkeeper, Will Huffer has returned from his loan spell from Barnet after Kamil Miazek picked up an injury that will keep him sidelined according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Huffer has been on loan with the Vanarama National League side and made three appearances in total, including an impressive performance against Brentford in the FA Cup.

He has made a good impression out on loan, but has been recalled after under 23's goalkeeper, Kamil Miazek picked up a finger injury in the warm up for their game against Bolton Wanderers on Monday.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell started that game, but is unlikely to be available, as he is due to be with the first-team squad for their game against Bolton at the weekend.

The under 23's are in action on Friday, so Huffer is expected to start in that game against Nottingham Forest in Miazek's absence.

Huffer will be hoping to get regular minutes under his belt for the remainder of the season, having already featured for the Leeds first-team in this year's campaign.

The England youth international kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Bristol City in late November, but is unlikely to see much action for the first-team with Peacock-Farrell and Kiko Casilla being ahead of him in the pecking order in Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The Verdict:

I'm not surprised to see him return.

Huffer has a bright future ahead of him and he really impressed me both at Leeds and with Barnet this season.

If he can continue to keep this good run of form up, then he'll fancy his chances of breaking into Marcelo Bielsa's first-team in the future.
