Leeds United secured a one-sided 4-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's side put in a dominant display to extend their excellent run in the league.

Patrick Bamford opened the scoring for Leeds with a close-range header after three minutes, before Mateusz Klich doubled the lead just before the break.

Leeds continued to press forward in the second half and got their reward midway through the half as Helder Costa fired home from the edge of the area, before Mateusz Klich doubled his tally with a stunning effort.

It was a comfortable display and this is how we rated the Leeds United team.

Kiko Casilla – 7

Incredibly tidy in possession when under pressure. Wasn't forced into action against Middlesbrough.

Luke Ayling – 7

Kept possession well and show good intelligence to time his runs into the final third.

Ben White – 7

A tidy performance. Kept possession well and allowed Leeds United to play out from the back.

Liam Cooper – 7

Kept Britt Assombalonga quiet during Middlesbrough’s attacking spells.

Helder Costa – 8

Made the right flank his own and gave Marc Bola an incredibly difficult afternoon. Got his reward with a fine goal in the second half.

Stuart Dallas – 7

A strong all-round performance as he nullified any threat from Middlesbrough’s midfield.

Kalvin Phillips – 8

Recycled possession incredibly well in front of the defence. Ensured Middlesbrough had little to no opportunity to play out of midfield.

Mateusz Klich – 9

Played well in midfield as he linked up with Pablo Hernandez and Kalvin Phillips. Capped a good display with a goal at the end of the first half and a stunning second.

Pablo Hernandez – 8

Caused Middlesbrough’s midfield a number of issues as he wriggled free of his marker. Another classy display.

Jack Harrison – 8

Gave Jonny Howson a number of problems with his trickery and delivery into the box.

Patrick Bamford – 7

Used his movement to great effect against his old club. As well as scoring early doors he ensured that Middlesbrough’s defence were never able to get comfortable.
