Leeds United winger Alfonso Pedraza has taken to his personal Twitter account to deliver a message, ahead of his side’s clash with Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.

Pedraza is enjoying a run of games in Garry Monk’s starting 11, following a difficult start to life at Elland Road, featuring from the start against Fulham and QPR.

The winger’s message read: “Can't wait to be back at Elland Road on Saturday! Very motivated for this new battle for the 3 points.”

Pedraza will be hoping he has done enough to earn another chance in the starting line-up, despite facing stiff competition from Souleymane Doukara and Kemar Roofe for a place on the left.

Monk’s side welcome Brighton to Elland Road this weekend, where they face a difficult task against Chris Hughton’s title-chasing side.

Leeds are looking for their first victory since the 3-1 triumph over Birmingham City earlier this month, following back-to-back draws.

The Whites are currently fourth in the Sky Bet Championship and are looking to solidify their place in the Play-Offs, as pressure begins to build.
