Ryan Edmondson is at Bradford City Football Club today, with the Leeds United striker’s social media activity leading to confusion.

Leeds have had Edmondson on their books since November 2017, with the 17-year-old striker in impressive form for the club’s under-23s and under-18s since then.

In fact, he impressed both Paul Heckingbottom and Marcelo Bielsa, with the former handing him a debut last season and the latter including him in multiple matchday squads this year.

The striker has only made one first-team appearance this season, though, and he failed to secure a loan move in January, despite his under-23 appearances drying up in the process.

Now, Edmondson has shared an update on his Instagram story, with the teenage striker tagging his location as Bradford City.

The Bantams are currently in League One under the management of former Leeds midfielder, David Hopkin.

After 32 fixtures of the season Hopkins’ side find themselves in danger of dropping back into the fourth-tier, but the club have given themselves a fighting chance of surviving with some improved performances under the Scot.

The Verdict

Edmondson’s post is cryptic and leaves many guessing why he’s at Bradford.

Leeds’ youth sides don’t appear to be in action there this afternoon and with the transfer window closed, a transfer announcement would surprise many.

Only time will tell why Edmondson is at Valley Parade.
