Leeds United have made approaches to sign both Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent from Liverpool this summer, according to reports from Football Insider.

The Whites are believed to be on the lookout for some fresh attacking options, in an attempt to bolster their firepower in the final third after missing out on promotion last time around.

According to Football Insider, two Liverpool youngsters in Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent are on the club's radar, and Marcelo Bielsa's side have now reportedly made approaches to sign the duo this summer.

Wilson was a standout performer on loan with Derby County last season, and Leeds will know all about the winger having played an influential role in defeating Bielsa's men in the play-off semi-final.

The wide-man scored 18 goals and produced six assists in all competitions, and is now believed to be attracting interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Southampton.

Kent, meanwhile, enjoyed an impressive loan spell with Rangers last season, scoring six goals and producing four assists in all competitions for Steven Gerrard's side. He has since been attracting interest from Aston Villa.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will let Leeds have the pair both permanently or on loan, but even the latter would cost the Whites multi-million pound fees.

The Verdict

It would be some statement of intent if Leeds are to sign both players in the summer.

They have both enjoyed fantastic campaigns last time out, and as a result, they are likely to cost an awful lot of money next season.

Leeds must ensure that they don't go all out to sign the duo, as other areas of the pitch need strengthening too.
