Leeds United manager Paul Heckingbottom has promised to make major changes to the squad and overall look of the entire club at Elland Road this summer.

Speaking to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post folloiwng a 2-0 home win over QPR, the former Barnsley gaffer was on top form and in passionate mood when discussing what might go down at the club over the summer.

Heckingbottom spoke of adding some 'physicality' to his team as he seeks to address the 'balance' in his squad, which he feels is slightly off at the minute, despite admitting that his team does possess some 'good technicians' in terms of using the ball.

The news and words from Heckingbottom could well be music to the ears of the Leeds fans, who will be desperate to see the team improve next season following a poor campaign resulted in them finishing in midtable.

Heckingbottom also spoke of his conversations he's already had with the club's owners, citing his need to be 'clear in every conversation he has' at the club, while also stating he is hoping the board will indeed back him in the market over the summer.
