Leeds United winger Jordan Botaka looks set to leave the club this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas.

Botaka has struggled to make an impact at Elland Road since arriving on a deal from Excelsior in 2015, but it appears now he could be on his way out of the club, with clubs in Holland reportedly interested in signing the player.

Botaka spent last season on loan in League One, with Charlton Athletic, however he struggled to make much of an impact in terms of goals, netting only twice in what was another poor season for the Addicks.

Still only 23, Botaka has time on his side in terms of his career, and a move to Holland could well give him the chance to blossom and develop his obvious talent into that of a player who can go a long way in the game.

Leeds are currently in a bit of disarray following the departure of Garry Monk, and the club will be hoping to act quickly to find a replacement for the former Swansea manager. The managerial situation though does not appear to be having a direct impact on the future of Botaka though, who many expect to be moved on regardless of who is in charge.
