Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko has been pictured in Turkey ahead of his loan move to Turkish Super Lig side Ankaragucu.

The 24-year old, after falling out of favour at Elland Road, has spent the first half of this season on loan at Spanish Segunda side Las Palmas.

But the winger has recently had his loan spell in Spain cut short, after failing to make a start for the club, and coming off the bench to make five substitute appearances.

With the winger failing to break his way into Marcelo Bielsa's plans for the rest of the season, the Mali winger has been pictured in Turkey ahead of signing for Ankaragucu, despite interest from clubs in Cyprus, Hungary and Spain.

Sacko was signed by former Leeds United boss Garry Monk, initially on loan from Sporting Lisbon at the start of the 2016/17 season - a move that was then made permanent by the Yorkshire club.

Leeds currently sit at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table, six points clear of Sheffield United in 3rd position, after a 2-1 win at Rotherham United at the weekend.

The Verdict

This is the best move for parties.

After failing to make an impact in Spain, Sacko didn't really do anything to stake a claim for a place in the first-team, nor did he do anything to make Bielsa change his mind.

Hopefully, he can make an impact in Turkey and come back to Leeds as a better player.
