Fulham are said to be interested in signing Leeds midfielder, Adam Forshaw according to a recent report from the Daily Mail.

Forshaw hasn't been at his best in recent months, and has struggled for consistency in his performances in Marcelo Bielsa's squad as they missed out on promotion.

He made 32 appearances in total for the Whites last season, but will certainly feel as though he could have contributed more to their promotion bid last season.

The former Middlesbrough midfielder signed for Leeds back in 2018 for a fee believed to be in the region of £4.5m according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Fuham will be hoping to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, after they were relegated back into the Championship after one season in the top-flight.

They already have some strong options in the centre of midfield, but Fulham boss, Scott Parker is seemingly keen to add to his squad ahead of next season.

It's set to be an interesting few weeks at both Fulham and Leeds, as they look to keep hold of their key players before the season gets underway in August.

Leeds' Kalvin Phillips has emerged as a potential transfer target for Aston Villa (according to The Telegraph), whilst Jack Clarke is a long-term target for Spurs (according to The Mirror).

Fulham could have money to spend in the summer, with it looking likely that Ryan Sessegnon is going to leave the club with Spurs also interested in signing him (according to The Guardian).

The Verdict:

I'm not convinced he'd fit in well to their squad.

Forshaw hasn't been that impressive with Leeds last season, and I think that they should be looking at better alternatives before next season gets underway.

Leeds will surely be doing everything they can to move Forshaw on to free up some money on the wage bill at Elland Road.
