Leeds United attacking midfielder Samuel Saiz has lauded Pablo Hernandez' impact on the team ahead of the Whites' trip to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, reports Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay.

The latter has been out of action for Leeds since their 3-0 victory away at Norwich City at the end of August, but is expected to make a return to the first-team this weekend.

And 27-year old Saiz, who has featured in every single league game for Marcelo Bielsa's men this term, has praised his fellow countryman's impact on the Yorkshire side.

"When Pablo plays, I'm not always the player who receives the first pass - he makes good movements to receive the first ball too", Saiz said.

"Of course I prefer that Pablo plays - I can have more freedom", the playmaker added.

Leeds will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday, after winning just one of their previous four league games.

The Verdict

Saiz and Hernandez have been very important players for Leeds over the last couple of years, and Saiz is right in everything that he is saying.

Hernandez was sensational for Leeds at the start of the season netting three times and provided two assists in five appearances for the Whites, and his return will be welcomed by every member of the Elland Road faithful.
