Leeds United are looking to make Preston North End winger Chris Humphrey there first signing since appointing new head coach Dave Hockaday according to reports in The Express.

Leeds United are interested in Humphrey

Humphrey joined Preston last season from Motherwell on a free transfer, and Leeds are believed to have made an enquiry for the wide man.

Humphrey played a major part for Preston as they made the play offs last season and is someone Simon Grayson would be looking to hold on to.

Whilst Dave Hockaday sees him as the ideal fit at Leeds United as he begins to build a side capable of reaching the Premier League.

Leeds are reported to face competition for the impressive Humphrey with Burnley and Wigan interested in the player.
