Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Brighton and Hove Albion defender Haydon Roberts according to The Telegraph.
It is also claimed that Derby County and Brentford are also interested in landing the defender’s signature ahead of next year’s campaign.
German duo RB Leipzig and Mainz are also believed to have sent scouts to watch Roberts in action, so it seems likely that there will be a real battle to strike a deal for the 18-year-old.
It is believed that Roberts could be the next player to follow in the footsteps of Ben White, who has been hugely impressive whilst on loan at Elland Road in the 2019/20 season.
A move to Leeds could be a tempting proposition for Roberts, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side well in contention to win promotion into the Premier League this season.
The Whites are currently sat top of the Championship table, and are six points clear of third-placed Brentford with four matches remaining this term.
Whilst Derby County are challenging for a top-six finish in the second tier this term under the management of Phillip Cocu. The Rams are sat ninth in the second tier standings, and are just three points adrift of the play-off places.

This could be a smart signing by Leeds.
Roberts clearly has something about him if he’s attracting interest from a trio of Championship clubs that are challenging for promotion into the Premier League.
If Roberts is being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Ben White, then he could go on to be a player with real talent. Leeds could be the ideal move for him as well, as it looks as though they’re set to make a long overdue return to the Premier League.
It’s certainly going to be an interesting summer transfer window ahead at Elland Road.
