Leeds United have had their fair share of legends over the years who have endeared themselves to fans in a number of ways.

The Whites, who are looking to bounce back this coming season following play-off failure under Marcelo Bielsa last month, are a massive club who have always managed to attract plenty of top talent and characters to the club.

One of those players in recent years is striker Luciano Becchio, who has a strong affiliation with the Leeds fans from his time with the club between 2008 and 2013.

The Argentinian is still well loved by the Whites fans, and the forward manages to keep in regular touch with his loyal supporters through social media, something he has done today with his latest Instagram post.

Becchio has chosen to select an image of him celebrating a goal in front of the Elland Road faithful with the simple caption 'True Love' showing just how he values the Leeds fans still.

The striker, who also had spells with the likes of Norwich and Rotherham United, retired from the game back in 2017 but is currently back in football as assistant manager with Atletico Baleares.

Becchio made just shy of 200 appearances in his time at Elland Road, notching over 70 goals on his way to becoming something of a legend at the club.
