Kyle Lafferty has let it be known that he is desperately in need of playing time as he’s failed to make any impact at Norwich this season, and Leeds United are keen on a move, according to the Sun.
With the European Championships in France at the end of the year, there are a number of players that are itching to play regular first team football and to prove themselves worthy of featuring in the tournament.
One player that will be hoping that he’s selected having featured heavily for Northern Ireland and also been an integral part of their success is Kyle Lafferty.
Despite that, the little playing time that Lafferty has had this season may hinder his chances of startinggand with the emerggency loan window closing next week, a move to the Championship for the rest of the season could his rescue his international hopes.
During the winter transfer window, Lafferty was linked with a string of Championship clubs including Leeds United however it never materialised, but if there was any truth in the rumour, Lafferty will be hoping that the lines of communication can re-open.
Steve Evans’ side have been in excellent form recently, and the addition of Lafferty on loan would surely only be a beneficial move for the Yorkshire outfit.
