Leeds United have been hit with a potentially worrying injury blow, with Stuart Dallas missing Northern Ireland's game against Germany on Tuesday evening through injury.

It was revealed by the Yorkshire Evening Post's Graham Smyth that Dallas felt tightness in his hamstring which kept him out of the game against Germany.

Northern Ireland were thrashed 6-1 on the night, and will be hoping they can qualify for Euro 2020 via the play-offs, as the finished third in Group C.

Dallas has been a key player for the Whites in recent years, and has already made 16 appearances for the Yorkshire-based side this season, who will be keen to win a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.

Leeds are currently sat third in the Championship table, and are just two points adrift of league leaders West Brom as we approach this weekend's set of fixtures.

The Northern Irishman's injury only adds to the growing list of players that are currently unavailable for Marcelo Bielsa when they return to action against Luton Town this weekend.

The likes of Liam Cooper and Eddie Nketiah are already in a race against time to be fit for the game against the Hatters after picking up injuries before the international break.

It's a game where Leeds will be expected to pick up another win to keep the pressure on the Baggies heading into the festive period.

The Verdict:

This will be a real concern for the Elland Road faithful.

Dallas has been a key player for them in recent seasons, and his versatility makes him an excellent option for Marcelo Bielsa to have this term.

He's already filled in at a number of different positions, and he'd leave a sizeable void in the starting XI if he was to be ruled out for an extended period of time.

It'll be interesting to see if he is deemed fit enough in their next game against Luton Town this weekend.
