Leeds United took a step closer towards earning promotion to the Premier League, with a narrow 2-1 win over Swansea at Elland Road.

Goals fro Pontus Jansson and Jack Harrison proved to be enough, despite Oli McBurnie's late penalty halving the deficit.

Leeds captain, Liam Cooper was keen to retain their focus ahead of the rest of the season in a post on his Twitter account.

Cooper's centre-back partner, Pontus Jansson responded to Cooper's message with a reply that Leeds supporters will love to see.

Jansson's words just show the togetherness that is currently in the Leeds squad, and it's this type of mentality that will see them win promotion this season.

In previous years, Leeds have struggled to maintain their positive start to their league campaign, but under Marcelo Bielsa, it seems unlikely that they will do the same in this year's campaign.

Cooper and Jansson have been regular's in the Leeds starting XI this season and Bielsa will hope to have the pair fit so that they can play a crucial part in Leeds' promotion push.

The Verdict:

This is the difference for Leeds this season.

This Leeds squad are showing real togetherness and I find it hard to believe that they aren't destined for the Premier League.

All of the players seem to be going in the same direction and with Marcelo Bielsa in charge, I would be stunned if the Whites don't win promotion this year.
