Leeds United are said to be valuing both Jack Clarke and Kalvin Phillips at £20m each according to the Daily Star after increased interest in the pair in recent weeks.

It's set to be an interesting summer ahead at Elland Road, especially after Marcelo Bielsa's side failed to win a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.

They were beaten on aggregate by Derby County, which means that they'll have to make do with another season in the Championship.

But the Elland Road faithful are set for a nervy transfer window before next season gets underway, with key players likely to be linked with moves away from the Yorkshire-based club.

According to the Telegraph, Aston Villa are readying a bid of £14m for Phillips, who was hugely impressive for the Whites last season.

With Leeds valuing Phillips at £20m though, it remains to be seen as to whether Villa will increase their bid for Phillips, who could certainly add something to their side in the Premier League next season.

If you're a Leeds supporter, then you'll be wanting the club to do all they can to tie Phillips down to a longer deal at Elland Road, as he is the type of player that Bielsa should be building his squad around for years to come.

But Clarke has continuously been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, and given that we're still yet to see the best of the promising youngster, Leeds' valuation of him is understandable.

He's a player with a bright future ahead of him, who many of the Leeds fans will feel as though he can make it to the very top of English football.

Leeds will be desperate to hold onto the pair heading into next season, and if they can, then you to have to feel as though the Whites will be one of the favourites to win promotion back into the top-flight.

If Marcelo Bielsa can offer assurances that they'll be in the mix to win promotion next season, then Phillips in particular could be tempted to stick around at Elland Road and give it one more season before considering offers from elsewhere.

Both Clarke and Phillips are key players to this Leeds squad, and if they are to depart in the summer, then supporters will be hoping that the funds can be reinvested into new signings.
