It was announced by Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the week that Ross Wallace would be leaving Hillsborough this summer, with the winger ending a three-year association with the Owls.

Wallace has seen his 2017/18 campaign cut short by injury, but his two previous years at Hillsborough saw the winger play a crucial role in helping the Owls compete for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship under Carlos Carvalhal.

Over the course of his stay at Hillsborough, Wallace delivered 13 goals in 124 appearances for the Owls.

The 32-year-old winger will be expected to attract a lot of interest in the summer, with Championship clubs sure to be casting an eye over the free agent.

Leeds United are one club who might be interested in Wallace, with Paul Heckingbottom looking to add some proven quality to his deflated squad in the summer.

Here at FLW, we took to Twitter to find out if Leeds’ supporters would back Heckingbottom taking a punt on Wallace over the course of the summer.

Results in our poll were close, with 56% of Leeds’ supporters surprisingly against a move for the talented winger, with the remaining 44% encouraging the Whites to take a punt on the 32-year-old.

Leeds fans… Would you back a move for Wallace in the summer? Let us know your thoughts!
