Becoming the first signing of the former Swansea City bosses tenure at Elland Road, the 25-year old Swede joins from Kalmar FF.
Not gonna pretend to be a Swedish football expert like some people but hopefully this guy works out, lord knows we need a striker. #LUFC

While it is never quite clear just who is buying the players at the club, Monk has waxed poetic over the forward’s movement and mental strength.
Marcus Antonsson is one of the most Swedish looking Swedish blokes I've seen #lufc

He also claims to have scouted him for a while, so perhaps this deal could represent a new dawn for the Yorkshire giants.

However, with Massimo Cellino in control, Leeds fans around the world will be wise to approach any feelings of optimism with an element of caution.
Still, ahead of yet another season in the second tier of English football, the signing of a forward who bagged 22 goals in 40 games since January 2015 has proved to be a rather exciting one for Leeds fans.
Marcus Antonsson looks uncannily like every generic long haired Championship player from 'FIFA 2009'. #lufc

Here’s how Twitter saw it.
Antonsson…can't really praise or argue with the decision. Not seen him play, only know he's scored goal in Sweden. #lufc

How good a signing could this be for Leeds?
