Today a Leeds United supporters organisation have launched Leeds Fans Community Benefit Society, which they hope will be the first step in fan involvement in Leeds United Football Club, as FLW reporter Ryan Ingham found out.

Leeds United fans have launched a new campaign

The aim is to raise £10 million to purchase a minority stake in Leeds United. Supporters will be able to invest from £100 to £10,000 in the Community Benefit Society that will give supporters a say in all society matters.

The organisation is founded by Leeds fans and solely exists to get a fans voice in the boardroom at Elland Road.

The expertise used through lawyers and the executive team/ shadow networkers have made this an air tight ship that is full throttle all the time.

Leeds Fans Community Benefit Society is the first of three fundraising initiatives. In later months we will see the launch of two other fundraising projects. One being for fans who would like to invest more into the movement and one that will be used for companies and philanthropists to invest in future Leeds fans.

Football league World reporter Ryan Ingham was present at the meeting, and Leeds United legend and official ambassador for Leeds Fans CBS Allan Clarke has given his full support to the initiative, saying to FLW reporter Ryan Ingham: "This group is made up of fans who want to achieve the goal of fans having a bigger say in how the club is run and I fully endorse what they're trying to do".

Stats across the board have showed the support for the fan organisation to push ahead and get involved in club matters. The group have spoken to other support organisations at Hearts, Rangers, Wrexham and Barcelona to learn more about how the different models work.

With fan support and financial assistance this really could be a new beginning for Leeds United fans that just want to go to the match and enjoy the football without any drama affected the boys.

Redfearn has got his boys playing fantastically on the pitch and now is our time to give Leeds United the best support we can, by letting our voice be heard.
