Felix Wiedwald's debut season in English football with Leeds United has seen him attract his fair share of criticism. 

His patchy form has not inspired confidence from the defence in front of him and saw him left on the bench for seven league matches under Thomas Christiansen, with Andy Lonergan taking his place instead.

That all means that Leeds fans were not expecting to see him top any seasonal rankings so it came as something of a shock when it was revealed that he has made the most punches out of any keeper in the division so far this season.

Punching the ball instead of catching it is still a contentious issue in modern football, especially with regards foreign goalkeepers as some interpret it as a sign of nervousness.

Leeds fans were fairly sure how he managed to rack up so many punches and took to Twitter to say so.
