England fans went delirious last night after their penalty shoot-out win against Colombia in the last-16 of the World Cup.

Pubs, clubs and parks were packed with England fans celebrating the victory wildly after Eric Dier scored the winning penalty to send the Three Lions into the quarter finals.

But one Leeds United fan found himself in a bar packed to the rafters with fans of England's opponents, Colombia.

Emerging from a crowd of despondent Colombians came one fan, dressed in his retro Leeds shirt, punching the air.

At the same time, he sends his flimsy cup of beer flying into the face of  an unsuspecting rival fan before retreating hastily from the bar, fists still pumping the air.

Over 25 million households were tuned in to the match last night with traffic in London grinding to a halt as elated fans poured onto the streets in celebration.

Other Leeds fans will hope to be celebrating in similar fashion over the coming weeks as manager Marcelo Bielsa shapes his squad ahead of the 2018/19 season.

So far, Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker is the player to join the club.

The highly-rated midfielder has moved to Elland Road on a season-long loan after not getting much of a look in during his spell at Middlesbrough last season.
