Leeds United manager Paul Heckingbottom could make a summer move to sign both Swansea striker Oli McBurnie, and Everton midfielder Joe Williams, according to respected journalist Alan Nixon.

The young pair are both currently on loan with Heckingbottom's former club Barnsley, and McBurnie in particular has been impressing of late with goalscoring form, while midfielder Williams has been an ever present for the Tykes, making over 30 appearances this term.

However, with Barnsley struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table and likely to be in a battle until the final few fixtures to save their status in the second tier, both McBurnie and Williams will no doubt see their time at the club come to an end in the summer, leaving Leeds to make their move.

Heckingbottom is keen to sign some new players this summer after what has been a disastrous start to his tenure at Elland Road, where he has picked up just the one win, and lost out to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday thanks to a late Owls winner from Atdeh Nuhiu.

Both McBurnie and Williams are highly rated by their respective parent clubs, but could well send the young pair out again, with Leeds always a good destination for developing talent due to the size of the stadium and fan base in West Yorkshire.

Leeds fans, what do you think to this? Would they be good signings? Let us know in the comments!
