He’s been heavily linked with a switch to Leeds United this summer as well as their Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers, but it’s advantage Neil Lennon now as the Whites end their interest.
Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler is extremely keen on a left winger this summer, with everybody in and around Elland Road resolute that that’s where Leeds need a new player.
However, despite fitting the bill, Massimo Cellino isn’t keen on signing Barker because he wants a new player permanently, rather than just on a loan deal.
Given his pre-season escapades, Barker looks like he would definitely smart signing for any Championship side, even if it is only a loan spell. Bolton would do well to sign him if they do make their move.
