Leeds United – as expected – have been extremely active thus far in the transfer window.
Eight new faces have walked through the door at Elland Road so far with a number more expected before the window slams shut.
Garry Monk’s appointment was seen as a step in the right direction by Leeds fans and he has had the whole summer to recruit his players.
It appears that Massimo Cellino is giving him some financial backing and, provided that the Italian owner gives Monk time to turn things around, next season could prove to be a very successful one for Leeds.
This summer’s reshuffle is starting to take place now as they approach their opening fixture against QPR at Loftus Road on Sunday. Monk will be hoping that his new signings gel into the team well and hit the ground running.
