Leeds United assistant manager, Pep Clotet, insists the Whites will be ready for their clash with Fulham this evening, and are expecting Slavisa Jokanovic’s side to go “full-on”, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Fulham are currently seventh in the Sky Bet Championship, just eight-points behind Leeds, and will be looking to close that gap this evening at Craven Cottage.

Leeds are fourth in the table and a draw would favour the Yorkshire side tonight.

However, Clotet insists the Whites will be looking for three-points this evening, he told the YEP: “We’re prepared to fight for every game and we take every game as very important, we’re preparing to win.

“After the game you look at the balance. Maybe a point will be a fair result or maybe you had a better game, or a worse game. You judge the result after. But before it you always have to look to get a win.

“For them the situation is a bit different than for us. Every point really counts for them and we understand they’ll go full-on because the closer they can get (to the top six) and the better results they have against the teams who are there, the more chance they have to go to the play-offs.”

Leeds’ hold on a place in the top-six has been strengthened by a four game unbeaten run, which includes back-to-back victories in their last two outings against Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City.

Victory for Garry Monk’s side this evening will see them open up an 11-point gap to Fulham, putting them in a fantastic position to go on and secure a place in the Play-Offs.

Monk’s side could also move into third with victory, depending on Huddersfield Town’s result against an in-form Aston Villa side.
