Leeds United transfer target, Mateusz Bogusz is set for a medical at Elland Road, according to the Football Insider.

Bogusz has established himself as a regular in Ruch Chorzow's first-team this season, and his talent hasn't gone unnoticed, with a number of clubs eyeing a swoop for the youngster.

It was previously revealed by Bogusz's current club, Ruch Chorzow, that Leeds had submitted a formal bid for the attacking midfielder.

It is believed that the youngster is set to sign a three-year-deal with Marcelo Bielsa's side, as he looks to plan for the future, which could well be in the Premier League.

Bielsa's side are currently sat top of the Championship table, and will be hoping they can make a long-awaited return to the top flight.

The 17-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season, and it will come as no surprise to see him attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

The Polish youth international has made 34 appearances for the Ruch Chorzow first-team, so there won't be any questions raised about his lack of experience and he could be the ideal man to replace Samuel Saiz who left for Getafe at the end of 2018.

If he is to link up with Leeds, then he could be an interesting player to keep an eye on, as he could play a pivotal role in the success of Leeds in the future.

The Verdict:

"This is a good signing for the future.

"Bogusz has a bright future ahead of him and could play a starring role for Leeds in future seasons.

"It's obvious that he won't be a regular in Marcelo Bielsa's squad at first, but if he can knuckle down, and focus on getting regular minutes under his belt with the under 23's side, he can be a star for the future."
